Sculptra Collagen Stimulation

Sculptra is made of Poly L Lactic acid (PLLA), the same substance used in dissolvable suture material. It is categorized as a collagen stimulator that produces long-lasting and natural results. It is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, improve the density and quality of the skin, and restore areas of volume loss.

How does it work?

A needle and a cannula places Sculptra in the facial layers under the skin where collagen induction is needed to restore lost volume and improve skin quality. The Sculptra material triggers a controlled inflammatory response that stimulates the cells to begin producing collagen again. Then the Sculptra itself is excreted through the lymphatic system.
